I am a registered Coach Mentor with the International Coach Federation. All credential holders are required to have 10 hours of mentoring from a registered mentor every three years. I do  a mentoring class in small groups or one-on-one. 

Group Mentoring Class—We do seven group calls where we focus on the ICF Core Competencies and the Code of ethics. Following that, participants are required to attend skills practice sessions where they each get at least one turn to coach Each participant submits two recorded coaching sessions. I evaluate the coaching sessions and provide one-on-one feedback. At the conclusion of the mentoring class, participants receive a certificate for 10 hours of Mentor Coaching. 

One-on-one Mentoring consists mostly of reviewing of recordings and providing feedback on coaching skills. Participants earn one hour of Mentor credit for every hour of feedback.
